[There are so many styles of yoga. How do I choose?]
Take a deep breath. Let it go. Feel better?
[Not yet.]
Okay, here’s more…
If you have never done yoga, you might try a Yin class.
[What’s Yin? It sounds scary.]
The word you’re looking for is “cozy.” Yin is a one-hour class with low-to-the-ground, long-held poses that require more hyphens than stamina. Yin is S-L-O-W and low. Like brisket. Or caramel sauce.
[Mmmm… I like caramel. Tell me more.]
Our blankets are as soft as bunnies.
[Mmmm… I like bunnies.]
If you have done SOME yoga, or it’s been a long time, or you’re ready for some medium-sized movement, try a cool class. Or a slow class.
[Seems reasonable. What if I want to be challenged?]
If you’re ready to dig in, try a hot class.
[How hot?]
90 degrees. You can do it. Bring a towel and some water.
[You don’t even know me!]
Well. I know that you’re curious. Curiosity flirts at the edge of awareness.
[Are you a hippie??]
I wish!
[Do you have a deal for newbies?]
